Officer Meeting, June 2010

The IEEE Indonesia Section officer meeting has been held last week, June 4th 2010, at Telkom Building, Gatot Subroto St, Jakarta. The meeting was led by Chairman Arnold Djiwatampu; and attended by Section officers, Chapters officers (Communications Society, Circuit & System); Student Branches officers (ITT of Bandung and UI or Jakarta); and Tencon 2011 organiser.

Summary:

1. The financial report, officer and activities reports are already submitted to IEEE R10.
2. New student branches are reported. Now we have three student branches:
   • University of Indonesia Student Branch, chair: Arriyadhul Qolbi
   • Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November Student Branch
   • Institut Teknologi Telkom Student Branch, chair: Aryo De Wibowo M. S

4. The meeting share IEEE conference management files from 2008, IEEE Panel of Conference Organizers (POCO). The results could be delivered in IEEE Educational Activities. The conference management might be presented to member and coordinated with Dr. Marzuki Khalid by M. Ary Murti.
5. The potential technical meeting for the section are
   • Mind Mapping by Dr. Suryadiputra Liawatimena
   • Control/Robotic by Dr. Wahidin Wahab
   • Artificial Intelligence by Marzuki Khalid
6. The potential next Education Meeting and Technical Meeting @ Student Branches (Jakarta-UI, Surabaya-ITS and Bandung-ITB) and Yogyakarta.
7. Regarding to the R10 Meeting 2011 @ Yogyakarta; Indonesia Section Gift Sponsorship Proposal and distinguished lecturer hosting are opened to student branches, chapters and universities.
8. TENCON 2011 will be held 21-24 November 2010 and is opened for sponsors, co-sponsors, and supporting institutions.
9. Next meeting will be held in the beginning of July 2010
